A friend gave me that book awhile back. He is a Great Plains Refugee as are many of us now city dwellers. I read parts of it (kinda like THS days) and it was a good read and good pics. I for one have a goal to get back there some day and live that kind of life again in the twilght days. Soon!!!

Jeannie. The name of the book is. American's Lingering Wild GREAT PLAINS. The author is: Michael Forsberg with Dan O'Brien, David Wishart, and Ted Kooser.
I have read it, has beautiful pictures of the great plains. The Author stayed in the house owned by Scott Stephens of Bismarck ( formerly Becky and Steve Seahaver home) when he wrote about Tuttle and Kidder county. The picture of the gas station was taken threw the window of this house. The author said the station looked like a model for a Norman Rockwell painting. The station is owned by Truman Felch. In the article he wrote about Tuttle he said he new a lot of people that would consider a week in Tuttle, ND a vacation.
